The philanthropic men and women behind the annual Taste of Tryall fund-raiser promised an evening of extraordinary delights and they delivered. But they never promised the rubbing of shoulders with a man many Jamaicans have come to adore and admire, the handsome, approachable and unpretentious NCIS' Michael 'Anthony DiNozzio' Weatherly, who accommodated star-struck fans by posing for photos.

They did, however, warn that the palate would be pleased with outstanding samples of superb food prepared by 60 private Tryall Villa chefs, while sipping specially prepared exotic cocktails. Hosted by the Tryall Fund, a charitable organisation focused on helping to improve education and health initiatives in the parish of Hanover, the organisation boasts that 100 per cent of all monies raised during the evening would be dedicated to community programmes.

The fund's chairperson, Terri McGraw, said, "The money raised each year allows us to continue our work at the Sandy Bay Basic School, to provide a number of educational scholarships to outstanding students, as well as support our medical and dental clinics for the community."

Adding to the exciting evening's festivities was an impressive silent auction showcasing a unique display of exotic jewellery, artwork and exclusive dinner and vacation packages. And, as if this was not enough, DJ Murdoch's musical talent and versatility had patrons stuck to the dance floor all night.
